I made a simple multiple image cropping tool.

In-browser bulk image cropping tool

This free online tool allows you to mass crop images, using a custom crop mask for each image.

All the work is done in the browser, no images are uploaded to a server, and at the end you will be able to download a zip file containing your cropped images.

Based on open-source software available at Github.

Known to work on:

  • Firefox (desktop)
  • Chrome (desktop, Android)
  • Safari (desktop, iOS, iPadOS)
  • Edge (desktop)

Known not to work on:

  • Chrome (iOS, iPadOS) - Use Safari instead

1. Select images to crop / resize

Select as many images as you like from your computer. They are not uploaded to a server (cropping is done in the browser).

If you have a low-memory device (eg. iPhone), you may wish to download a zip file after every 20 or so images.

2. Select desired width and height

Here you can select the desired size of your images (eg. 1200 by 1000 pixels).

  • Resize to at most the given width and height (may be smaller)
  • Resize to exactly the given width and height (may need to upsize)
  • Keep the size of the selected crop (large as possible)

3. Select target aspect ratio for images

Here you can select your desired aspect ratio. Common aspect ratios are 1:1 (square), 4:3 and 16:10.

If you have a desired width and height for your images you can enter that here (eg. 1000 by 800).
